Stream Mint Streaming & Marketplace Policy Effective August 21, 2025

Stream Mint is a platform built to support independent artists, podcasters, and creators by offering tools for promotion, discovery, and direct-to-fan commerce. This policy outlines how our streaming service and marketplace operate, what artists can expect when submitting content, and how we handle privacy, monetization, and fees.

Our streaming service is designed for promotional use only. When you upload music, podcasts, or any audio content to Stream Mint Streaming, you’re sharing it to build visibility—not to monetize. Streaming uploads are not monetized by default. Artists will be notified directly when monetization becomes available, and at that point, you’ll have the option to opt in. Until then, all streaming content is considered promotional and non-commercial.

We encourage creators to upload short snippets or previews to the streaming platform to build hype and drive traffic to their storefronts. Full-length tracks, albums, and extended content are best suited for sale in the Stream Mint Marketplace. However, the decision is entirely up to you—we do not restrict how much of your content you stream or sell.

The Stream Mint Marketplace is where artists can sell music, merchandise, event tickets, and digital content directly to fans. Every product listed in the Marketplace is subject to a transaction fee and a platform commission percentage. These fees help cover payment processing, hosting, customer support, and platform maintenance. The current fee structure is disclosed during onboarding and may be updated periodically. Artists will always be notified in advance of any changes.

By submitting content to Stream Mint—whether for streaming or sale—you confirm that you own the rights to distribute it, or that you’ve obtained all necessary licenses and permissions. You grant Stream Mint a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, stream, and promote your content within our ecosystem. You retain full ownership and control of your work, and you may remove it from the platform at any time.

This applies to all audio formats, including music, podcasts, voice recordings, and soundscapes. It also applies to any visual or digital assets uploaded in connection with your storefront or content. Stream Mint reserves the right to remove any content that violates copyright law, infringes on third-party rights, or breaches our community standards.

We take privacy seriously. Stream Mint does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party partners. Your data stays within Stream Mint unless we receive a valid legal warrant or a written, verified request from the rightful owner of the content, confirmed jointly by Stream Mint and the content owner. We do not track your activity across other platforms, and we do not use your content or data for training external AI models. Your information is used solely to operate the Stream Mint platform, support your account, and improve your experience.

Artists will be notified when streaming monetization becomes available. Notifications will be sent via email and dashboard alerts. Monetization may include ad revenue sharing, subscription payouts, or fan tipping features. Participation is optional and opt-in only. Until monetization is activated, all streaming content remains promotional. Stream Mint does not pay royalties or revenue shares for non-monetized streams.

To maximize your reach and revenue, we recommend using Stream Mint Streaming for short previews and promotional snippets, while uploading full-length tracks and exclusive content to your Marketplace store. Linking your streaming content to your storefront helps convert listeners into buyers and keeps your creative output under your control.
